Reloved of Rye will act as your agent, selling clothes, shoes and accessories on your behalf.

We will display and store your items at our premises for 6 weeks from an agreed start date.

At your appointment we will evaluate your items and advise which we think have a good chance of selling.

In the unlikely event that items have been left without an appointment and we accept them, we reserve the

right to price them in accordance with our own judgement.

We reserve the right to refuse any items that we think we shall be unable to sell or are found to be damaged.

We cannot guarantee that your items will sell or that they will be put out for sale if the shop is at capacity.

Once we have decided which items to take into stock you will be given a list of all the items, with a selling price,

and a date to arrange for the return of your items if they haven’t sold after the 6 week period. The item will be

on sale for a maximum of 6 weeks, after which the client is expected to come and collect their unsold items. If

items are not collected, or indeed if you do not want the items back, we will give them to a local charity shop.

We may reduce items by 20% if there is a chance of selling them. Please advise if you do not wish

any reductions.

All goods must be received ‘ready to sell’ in a GOOD AND CLEAN condition and either freshly laundered or dry

cleaned. We will not accept damaged, un-ironed, or stained goods.

Buttons and zips should all be intact and working properly, collars and cuffs must be in excellent condition and

there should be no sign of bobbling on woollen items.

You confirm that you are the owner of all items given to Reloved of Rye for sale. We do not accept stolen or

counterfeit goods and you may be asked to provide proof of ownership or authenticity.

All goods are left ENTIRELY at the Client’s own risk.

You will receive 50% of the sold price although sometimes this is open to negotiation depending on the value

and brand of the item.

All money due to clients for items sold is paid once the 6 week date has expired or when all items have been

sold. Payment is made by BACS, payment by cash is not possible.

Due to our large number of clients it is impossible for us to keep you updated as to the progress of your items.

It is entirely your responsibility to keep in touch with us by email or in person at the shop if you would like to

know how your items are selling.

We may not call or otherwise remind clients of their due date to make arrangements for return or collection of

unsold items, although money for items sold will still be transferred to you. You will be issued a collection date

on delivery, please make a note of this. There is a two week period after your date during which your unsold

items will be held. If you are unable to get to us, please call us to arrange an alternative collection time. Please

note we do not call you.

We do not keep plastic or wire hangers, shoe boxes, plastic dry cleaning bags, bags or suit carriers. Please take

these with you should you wish to keep them. If not we will dispose of them for you.
